The US and the LHC Experiments
More than 1,700 scientists, engineers and graduate students from US institutions collaborate on the six LHC experiments: ALICE, ATLAS, CMS, LHCb, LHCf and TOTEM. US groups contribute to the construction and operation of the complex detectors and computing systems. US scientists continue to play key roles in the scientific discoveries at the LHC experiments.
