Angels & Demons Lecture Night (TM) - The Science Revealed

About the Series

The blockbuster movie Angels & Demons focuses on an apparent plot to destroy the Vatican using a small amount of antimatter. Parts of the movie were actually filmed in the Large Hadron Collider at the European particle physics laboratory CERN. Through a series of Angels & Demons-themed public lectures held in 2009 and continuing on into 2010, the particle physics community has told the world about the real science of antimatter, the Large Hadron Collider and the excitement of particle physics research.

Lectures have been organized in cities across the United States and Canada and around the world; many lectures are now available for online viewing. If you're a scientist and would like to volunteer to give a lecture, please contact Elizabeth Clements or Katie Yurkewicz.
